Welcome to the EN 200-001 Introduction to Creative Writing blog; bookmark this site since you will be required to do weekly postings here. In order to do those, you will have to sign up for a GMail account (if you don't have one already) and register for one. I will send an e-mail invitation to everyone so they can participate in the blog. These postings (about 250 words each) are to be in response to the weekly readings; they will account for a decent chunk of your grade, so don't blow them off.
Students are strongly encouraged to reply to (comment on) their peers' postings and foster a dialogue about the creative writing we read over the course of the previous week.
Each week, by the Friday before class, I will put up a discussion quesetion about a poem or piece of fiction that we will be reading for the upcoming class. Your postings are to be up no later than 7 a.m. on Monday mornings, about three hours before class time.
